Terms and conditions

Utilaro is a digital marketplace connecting people and companies that want to rent, buy, or list professional equipment (construction, agricultural, industrial, heavy).

The current soft launch focuses on Romania. Expansion to other European markets may follow.

Utilaro acts as a technology intermediary. We are not a party to rental or sale contracts between users unless we expressly state otherwise.

You must have legal capacity to contract. Business accounts must be created by people authorised to represent the company.

You are responsible for keeping login credentials confidential and for activity under your account.

We may suspend or close accounts that breach the Terms, publish false information, or harm other users or the platform.

• Provide accurate, up-to-date profile and company details.
• Do not create multiple accounts to bypass restrictions or moderation.
• Do not share account access with unauthorised third parties.

Owners and companies may publish rent, sale, or dual listings. Buyers may send inquiries, calendar reservations (where enabled), and public requests.

You alone are responsible for listing accuracy (prices, condition, availability, photos, location) and for complying with applicable law (including tax and workplace safety rules).

Utilaro may moderate, hide, or remove content that breaks the law, third-party rights, or these Terms.

• Do not list equipment you are not entitled to rent or sell.
• Do not use the platform for spam, fraud, or misleading content.
• Displayed prices must be clear; extras (transport, operator, fuel) must be communicated transparently.

Rental, sale, delivery, payment, insurance, and inspection are agreed directly between users, unless Utilaro offers a dedicated payment flow (not active in soft launch unless announced).

We recommend written confirmation (in-app or email) of dates, location, handover conditions, and responsibilities.

Utilaro does not guarantee availability, technical condition, or performance of equipment listed by third parties.

During soft launch, core browsing and publishing may be free unless we state otherwise on the site.

We may later introduce subscriptions, transaction fees, or premium features, with reasonable prior notice.

The Utilaro brand, design, software, and our created content are protected. You may not copy or commercially exploit them without written permission.

You keep rights in content you upload. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display that content on the platform to operate the service.

The platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the extent permitted by law, Utilaro is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, data loss, or harm arising from dealings between users.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (for example fraud or wilful misconduct where required).

You may close your account by contacting us. We may suspend access for abuse, fraud, security risk, or Terms breaches.

After termination, some data may be retained under the Privacy Policy and legal obligations.

These Terms are governed by Romanian law, without prejudice to mandatory EU consumer rights.

Where permitted, disputes should first be resolved amicably; otherwise Romanian courts have jurisdiction, subject to consumer venue rights.

We may update the Terms. The “Updated” date on this page shows the current version. Continued use after material changes constitutes acceptance where the law does not require another form of consent.
